Hello everyone!

I'm so awfully excited about tomorrow! Hurray! Tomorrow is Saturday! There's so much going on tomorrow. I don't know where to start... Haha. Ok I remember now. The most exciting thing for tomorrow:

~ Joyce and Gabby's coming over my house after the LIFE RALLY! Yipee! The 3 of us haven't chatted up for more than 3 months already! Hahaha. Hurray! This is so so good man! Thank GOD. FINALLY! Haha. If I'm not sitting in front of the computer, I would be jumping up and down now I bet. xD

~ There's Youth Church! Hurray for YE! Haha, see you all there!

~ Then there's LIFE RALLY in PJ organized by the Uth Church. Be there, or be square! =D

~There's alot more in stored... Who knows what else?! Woohoo!

God is so good to me! Let's talk about FRIENDS today. =) Friends! What a wonderful gift! But ofcourse, not just anyone can be our friends. Not just anyone on the street can be our best and true friends. But all of us need friends. Without them, life would be lonely, boring, and quite hopeless! Haha, correct?

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall,
One will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.

These verses are so true! Friends are to help and edify and built each other up, both in good and bad times. But not ALL friends qualify to be TRUE friends. Do you know who's your TRUE friend? You might not know, yet. Therefore pray, and ask God for a TRUE friend! I remember some time ago, I asked God for REAL friends. And truly, He did answer my prayer, and life is so lively and fun and hopeful now! Its better to have one trustworthy friend, than to have a hundred friends who will leave you when you're in trouble!

But one thing we're all familiar with is the matter of trying to FIT IN. We all do it. I don't say its bad or anything. But you'll have to think whether its WORTH IT or not! Ofcourse, even I try to fit in. I can't say its stupid, but its nearly in our blood already. Don't you think so? But then again, you must be careful who you try to fit in with. Or else, you'll get into a terrible mess!

Above all, here's a good verse for you:

1 Corinthians 15:33 ~ "Do not be deceived: evil company corrupts good habits."

Stay close to friends who are prudent and dependable, don't try fitting in with people who you know won't do you any good. Instead, they'd most probably get you into trouble. So don't be deceived by the devil! He wants no good for you. But trust GOD for a TRUE friend, and that person will come in due time. =) And let's not forget: Jesus! He's the TRUEST friend we can ever have! ;)

God is with us!

Hola, pretty people! xD

I just read a magazine earlier, and there's this article called: "10 Most Annoying Situations In Life". A few minutes ago, I was thinking about what I should write... And *snap!* a verse came to my mind, and it related to the "(nearly) most annoying situation in life" that I read in the magazine. Aha!

You must be thinking of all sorts of "annoying situations" now. I'm sure you have a very long list... =D Well, the (nearly) most annoying situation in my life that occurs to me now is: when someone talks and talks and talks (x1 million) and never stops talking! Oi, listen to me at least! Really, I've met quite a bunch of these Irksome Folk. (Hahaha!) They just can't stay quiet and listen to others. Blabber and chatter and yammer and natter and gabble non-stop, they will! And I'll be very sad if you're one of them. Aiks!

You know what? Its actually OK if they talk about good, funny, pleasant, and FRUITFUL (profitable) stuff. But sadly, most Irksome Folk aren't quite fruitful in their talk. Instead they talk CRAP! I won't be surprised if YOU'RE one of them. Haha. Yes, I know. I'm not lecturing you or anything. I'm simply WARNING you. I know I can't just say this without some sort of foundation... So here goes, I already have one! =D

Ephesians 4:29 says: "Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers."

Yes! Let no corrupt word (trash talk) come out of your mouth! But always what is good for edification (encouraging & helpful). All in all, God tells us in His Word that we should glorify Him in everything we say! I know alot of people talk trash, and you know what's trash? Things that are no longer in use; unwanted stuff that are useless and unprofitable to anyone! Well, I admit, I'm not perfect either. I still talk trash sometimes, and rotten words still proceed from my mouth. But at least, I try. We need to ask God to cleanse us and to take full control of our tongue. Ofcourse, we may still make mistakes, but God will honor those who make an extra effort!

1 John 1:9 ~ If we confess our sins, the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Trash talk is not what God wants us to do. It doesn't please Him when you curse and swear and say dirty things. BAD BAD BAD! What's more, its never right to say it to other people. I've seen so many of you curse and use vulgar language in your blogs. What's so good about it? Does it help you in any way at all? Maybe it helps you "release your anger", but that's the lie of the devil! Its NOT God's will for you, and its already stated in God's Word. So do something, before it gets too hard!

Well, hate me if you want, but what I said was right. No apologies. =) Go check out Zlwin's post (Where's God In Your Life?) for more. Haha. God bless you, dude! =D

Let God reign in your life!

Heya my friends! =D

I'm at my aunt's house now, just came back from Jusco. I'm kinda bored; thank goodness for a computer! =P Hmm... So what shall write about?

Aha! A verse just popped up in my mind. Here goes...

Proverbs 37:5

"Commit your way to the Lord;
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass."

The Psalmist David tells us we should "commit our ways to the Lord". Now this part should make you think. How often do you commit your plans and your hearts desires to God? Many times we worry over this and that, and we often seek help from our friends or family. But you know, in this verse, God is telling us that we should, and must, commit our plans and troubles to Him at all times. Ofcourse, it is not wrong to ask for help from people. But then, how much do we depend on God for help? How often?

I don't think I'll have to explain much. You can think it out yourself. God has been throughly great & awesome in my life. He's done so many wonderful things for me! And I can tell you, I know God is real because He proved Himself real to me! So after you commit your plans & ways to God, what's the next step? Read Psalm 37:5 again. Yes, God tells us to trust in Him also! In the first place, how can you commit your troubles to God if you don't trust Him? Maybe God has not been real enough in your life, but you can ask Him to be, right now! I can guarantee you, I'm 100% sure He will make Himself real to you if you would just have that bit of trust & faith in Him. =)

And now, for the conclusion... Sometimes we have so much to do, we want so many things, we need so much, but what can we do about it? Well, I don't know what your troubles are... But I know that if you would commit what your needs to God, and trust that He is real, He will "bring it to pass" in due time. Amen! =D

So keep trusting God, He is all knowing, and you know what's the best part? God loves you! So don't go running around like a headless chicken when your Guide and Good Shepherd is right here ready to help you out. Call to God, and He will answer. Jeremiah 33:3

Jeremiah 29:11
God is Sovereign!

Hello people! =)

Argh, I've missed out on the Sunday post! Haha. Sunday service was terrific! The most I remembered about last Sunday was the preaching by guest speaker: Landa Cope. It was really good. A smart lady she was. But unfortunately, I couldn't pay my full attention during the service. I was so sleepy! xD And Shirlynn must be put to blame for my sleepiness. =P (But I won't tell why) By the way, it was Shirlynn's birthday on Sunday! And I only found out on Saturday night... That girl ah. Didn't even tell us! =)

So, back to Sunday service. Landa Cope reviewed the Ten Commandments in her message. She restated its meaning in a whole new different way! God truly spoke to her and revealed to her the "other side" of His commandments. The commandment I mainly remember is:

Deuteronomy 5:7 ~ "You shall have no other gods before me."

Sounds familiar? =D I have to say that before this, I didn't think of this commandment the way Landa Cope put it. You might think it just means: Don't bow down to, or serve other gods. We shouldn't put materialistic things above God. We shouldn't pray to any other idols. Bla bla bla..

Correct! What you're thinking, would most probably be correct. But have you considered the "other side" of it? You see, God made the Ten Commandments not to control us or to take over the world. (But really, the world does belong to God!) He made it for our own good.
FOR OUR OWN GOOD.

Deuteronomy 5:33 tells us: "You shall walk in the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you..."

Yup, that's right. I clearly remember what Landa Cope said about "the other side" of this commandment. You know why God commands us not have any other gods before Him? Because He's the one and only God! There is simply no other!

Deuteronomy 4:39 says, "Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other."

It's really for your own good. God is clearly telling you, "Don't waste your time worshipping idols when they're not real. They won't last forever. I am the only true and living God!" So there goes, don't waste your time, my friend. Seriously, it really is a bit ridiculous to create something, out of your own creativity, and worship it. (Get what I mean?)

So what are the idols in your life? It doesn't necessarily mean idols as in those weird-looking figurines that people pray to in tradition. It can be anything. Anything that you think of or use too much, that causes you forget about God. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying its wrong to love your parents or to spend time with your friends or to use your PC 24/7. But if you continue to spend time with God, and set apart time to seek Him, then its not considered wrong.

Remember, its for your own good! God is God, and you are not. So don't create your own rules which are bound to get you into an unfortunate mess!

Joshua 1:8 says, "This Book of Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

God wants the best for you, so follow Him!

Heya everyone! =D

Whoopee! Today was a very fine day indeed! You know, I didn't sleep at all yesterday. I only slept for three hours in Joyce's house today. That means I slept at 5am! Haha. Crazy people are we! But God is good, finally I managed to catch up with Joyce. That's very fortunate really! But thank goodness God kept me awake today. Otherwise I would have been dozing off in YE.. xD

Oh yes, let's talk about TODAY! =D Today was an "official" Friendship Day in YE. Aha..

Yeapz, today was Friendship Day! It was really good. We had praise & worship before all else, then Larry conducted some best friends talk show to make things more interesting. And Larry asked a few really... stupid questions (really!). Haha. Like: How many times do you think your friend goes to the toilet a day? Yeah, it was silly, but funny at the same time! =) By the way, the 2 very best of friends were... Commander Desmond Lim & Uncle Toby! Haha, or better 'sounding', Commander Kwang Yew la. Haha. Then they both did a short sharing and we wrapped up with praying for each other. Really good. Well, I'm so glad I came for YE today! Yipeeeee!

Unfortunately, I didn't bring any camera, so all the pictures are with Zlwin, the camera guy for the day. Haha, he'll be posting by tomorrow I think. =)

Gahh... I'm so tired now. My legs ache! And tomorrow's another long day. But oh well, I'm glad I'm going to church, nevertheless! Woohoo! =D Okie then, before I end, I'll serve you supper first. Teehee*

John 15:13-17 ~ "13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer to I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another."

Actually Zlwin quoted this verse before we ended. Haha. So till then, hide God's Word in you heart and stand firm in your faith above all! Without heeding God's Word, whatever you do would be in vain, or rather, pointless. =)

God is great!
I'm goin' to sleep. Goody Night, my ''most treasured'' friends!

Hullo, strange and peculiar people! =P

I'm sucking dark chocolate in my mouth now. =) Rum & raisins! Mmm.. xD Oh yes, that reminds me, I'm getting fat. "Fat?!" You might say. I know, you're fatter right? =P Haha, yes, I love eating now. I LOVE EATING! Well, not just anything.. Good and delightful-to-the-heart food ofcourse. By the way, I HATE rice! Why do Malaysians eat so much rice anyway?! Its simply outrageous! If I'm correct, you eat rice everyday right? =) HAHAHA.

Okie then, lets get on to the real post now. I have a fair bit of Scripture verses for you today. Have you ever wondered why humans do stupid things most of the time? (Aha!) Well, its because we stay away from the most important thing in the world! Once again, its God's Word. =D Haha, yes, we should treasure God's commandments for us! Well, I have to say that I fail to treasure it too. Its terribly hard. But perfectly possible! (Ha!) But then again, we are very strange folk, we tend to take the nearest and closest things to us for granted. Sometimes its our family, or our friends, or our school books (hahahaha), or very likely... GOD.

Deuteronomy 30:11 says: "For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off."

Ahah! Indeed, the Scripture states that the commandments God has prepared for us are not too far from us, neither is it too mysterious for us to understand.

Isaiah 45:3 says: "I will give you treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by name, am the Lord God of Israel."

If you would ask God for it, He will surely reveal to you the "hidden riches in secret places". How precious is that! Hidden riches! =) Well, I've gone straight to the point already. And the Scriptures affirm all that I've said in:

Deuteronomy 30:14 ~ But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

Yes! Its so very near that you take it for granted! Now that you are reminded, you'd better "go for it". Or not, then, you are in a very bad state. Perils await you, and you do not even know! (Aha!) So take care my friend, and we shall meet soon. x) Haha, I've read too much of LOTR. If you've read it.. =)

So till then, be happy, and stay merry! *Teehee*

"Everything that happens now, will serve it's purpose in the future."

Janielle's wise saying... But um, do you think its wise?? =) Ofcourse it is!! (Really, I created my own proverb!!) HAHAHAHA. Well, I'm sure its wise enough... At least I don't think you can come up with something as wise! =P Forgive me, I'm being very evil today. xD Argh, one thing's on my mind now. TIME!!! I need more time!!! Well, its not like I don't have enough time. I have lots of time, actually. But I need more time on weekends!!! Grrr... There's just so many places to go, and so much to do! And I even have an INTERVIEW coming up... *Wahh...* I think you blinked a bit. HAHAHAHA. Yeah right, I'm just makin' a big fuss now. Forgive me!

Reading is good. I taught my dog to read. =) I have no articles to post today. =( *runs off in a haste*
Have a good day!!

Heya people! =)

I've just finished reading about Helen Keller for a research. You must be wondering who's Helen Keller! A famous popstar perhaps? HAHAHA. If you know who's she, you'd probably be laughing too. If not, then here's your latest research project! =P Anyway, I just wanted to quote a quote of hers.

"We could never learn to be brave and patient, if there were only joy in the world."

Well well, did you understand that? Can you imagine this world without trouble? I think we'd all be lying around eating chocolates for the rest of our lives! (as Zlwin said) That would be disastrous!

Ofcourse, all of us hate troubles & worries. No doubt about that. You might be having a hard time now, or you could be having a very jolly life enjoying yourself. But still, here's a very splendid verse for you:

Exodus 14:14 ~ The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.

Doesn't that sound good?! But you know, that doesn't mean that you can sit around and shake your legs and wait for the end of the world to come. x) Its just like the Bible story of David and Goliath. David knew that the Lord will fight for him. But still, he had to take the step of faith and courage to face Goliath, so that God can work. Otherwise, even if God wanted to fight for David, but David didn't want to step out, what use would it be? So remember that the Lord will fight for you, only if you will fight for Him. If you will trust God and believe that He can use YOU, then no man shall be able to stand against you! Joshua 1:5

God bless you loads, Precious! xD

Can you see the art in this picture? NO!! Not the sparkling water, its the art of taking a picture of someone taking a picture!! x) I miss you, dad!! =)

Hello Weird & Wonderful Folk! =D Haha.Today, I have another story to tell. =) Read on!

My cousin brother throws me a sly look and I look at him quizzically. I squeezed the brakes and
halted right behind him on my bike.

"What?" I said. Denielle (my other cousin) replied abruptly: "Race lah!"

"Race?"

"We challenge each other."

"Oh." I quickly position myself in between them, and my cousin shouts: "Three, two... one!!"

We took off in a whiz and cycled fast and speedily down the lane. In the end, I triumphed in getting second place. =P My legs were tired and weary already. Still, they wanted to cycle higher up the hill without any rest. So I pressed on. Huffing and puffing along. Even though I didn't feel... OK.

When we finally reached home, I thought I felt kinda... dizzy. I got off from the bike and wobbled abit. My heart was beating furiously. "I think I feel like vomiting," I told my cousin. And then I saw spots. White spots. Oh no... I quickly leaned against the gate and breathed in slowly. Lack of oxygen, must be. For a moment, I thought I would have blacked out. I felt awfully sick in the stomach, and how I wished I didn't take up that silly dare and raced with my cousins when I wasn't READY.

Sometimes, we can be too ambitious. We try to do big things, but we fail. You know why? Just like in my story: we don't have enough oxygen! And that's similar to GOD'S WORD, for us. Many times, we try doing great things, but we won't succeed if we're not ready. And to be ready, we NEED to prepare our hearts & minds with the Word of God! We may seem OK on the outside, but on the inside, we're weak and wobbly in our faith. So its best to be built up in God's Word and to be READY, than to shake and tremble in fear when the enemy attacks. (Get what I mean?)

Without GOD, whatever we do and plan to do, would be done in vain. Then we'll feel sick. But when we commit our plans to GOD, He will guide us and lead our way!

Proverbs 3:5-6 ~ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in ALL your ways and He will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 16:3 ~ Commit your works to the Lord, and He will establish your thoughts.

Proverbs 19:21 ~ There are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless the Lord's counsel - that will stand.

God is good! You do YOUR part, and He'll do HIS. =)

Hello everyone!!! =D

Earlier in the day, I went to Midvalley. Haha, its the second time in a week. =) Once again, Lo and Behold, I went to MPH! Haha. Seriously, I think its a the best place in the whole of Midvalley! For me at least. XD But I didn't get to stay long, cause' my pesky cousins didn't like reading. Gah...

Okie then, I think it bores you to know what I did today. And if you're a regular here, I'm sure you know I don't talk much about MY life. =P Haha. Funny ain't it? (This is supposed to be a blog!)

A verse just came to my mind. Very short, and wonderfully meaningful. Here goes:

Luke 17:5 says: The apostles said to Jesus, "Increase our faith!"

Simple? Very. I wonder what comes to your mind first thing in the morning when you wake up. I wonder what goes to your mind when you switch off the lights and go to bed. Well, I think sometimes its worries. Worries worries worries. But actually, I don't think I worry much. But this is for YOU. Haha. Well, I try to make a point each day, or before I sleep, to ask God to increase my faith. Just like Jesus' disciples. Yes, so ask God today. We all haven't got ENOUGH. Always ask, and pray, and believe. But most of all, DO SOMETHING. You don't expect to get anything by sitting around and just waiting do you?

God can increase our faith in many ways. Who knows how? Find out for yourself. =)

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM FOOLS!!!

My "I-could-have-died" story...

This story dates back nine long long years ago in the life of Janielle Beh.

I was riding on a banana boat with my fellow cousins in Kenyir Dam. (Some place in Malaysia where people go for holidays, and live in the midst of brown-green murky mere, and trees, and waterfalls, and banana boats, and canoes...) My uncle owns some little resort there, so all my cousins and relatives went there for a holiday.

So back to the banana boat. I was having quite a time of my life actually... When one of the riders shouted to the guy who was steering the banana boat: "Go faster!!!" I held my breath as we glided over the brown murky waters and went faster and faster. We were all screaming and yelling and laughing. Back then I was 5, hmm... Quite brave eh? A bunch of kids we were. =)

Then all of a sudden, as the boat steered to a sharp corner, I fell. WE ALL FELL. The horrid ol' banana boat flopped over and turned us down into the deep, dark, brown, muddy and murky water!! Argh, I still feel sick of the trauma. I spluttered and sank into the water, gasping for breath. (Now read the WARNING up there) I was wearing a life-jacket! How could I be DROWNING?!

I felt like crushing the stupid fella who deliberately kept PUSHING and shoving MY HEAD down into the water!!
Grrr... Hello? I needed to BREATHE. I choked and swallowed the nasty brown water. THE FOOL was still pressing down my head. Ish. I can't remember what I was thinking then; I was young. But I'm sure I was crying underwater.

Then finally, after that moment of eternity in the water, the FOOLISH FOOL stopped his FOLLY and I BREATHED. (My uncle rescued us ofcourse, and he was smiling away in the motorboat! For some reason... And I was thinking: Argh, I could have died you know!) I guess they didn't experience the trauma I DID. No one knew. I was only 5! And then Janielle Beh promised herself that she'll never go back to Kenyir Dam EVER again.

But ofcourse, I did. After I got over the traumatic experience. And when I did go back there, it was 7 years later. 7 YEARS LATER!! (Grrrr..) So you've read my "I-could-have-died" story... And the lesson for today is:

STAY AWAY FROM FOOLS!!!

Proverbs 13:20 ~ He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the COMPANION OF FOOLS WILL BE DESTROYED.

So till then, don't let fools spoil your day. Flee foolishness, and stick fruitfulness, my friend!
1 Corinthians 15:33

Hey hey, my friends!!! Whoopee!! I'm back!! =D Ish, my Streamyx has been down, and I have been fairly busy... So I didn't get to update. But take comfort that I am back! (Yeah, take comfort...) =P

TWO SILLY STORIES: An account of my visit to The Curve (A must read!)

#1 SILLY STORY

"Anyone wanna' go to the toilet?" My dad/mum asks (I forgot who). I absent mindedly followed my dad. My mind was currently on: (Should I tell you? Ok, I shall.) How should I spend my CNY angpau money? I was thinking and half dream-walking (eh?). A moment later, I heard my dad laughing. I looked up, I looked around, blurr for a second. Then I started laughing. Guess what? I walked straight into the MEN'S TOILET. (Aiks!) I followed my dad. Quite absent-mindedly. Eheh. As I was walking out, unfortunately, a tall guy walked in. He looked down at me; I looked up at him. (I was laughing VERY hard.) He gave me some stupid stare of his, and I dodged away. Still laughing. (I know you can't imagine, so don't.)

THE END (I told you it was a silly story!)

#2 SILLY STORY (This is a rather stupid story, though.)

I was walking. Suddenly, a "Hi." popped out from behind. I turned around. A bunch of daft guys were in sight. A guy clad in a hideous pink shirt (exaggeration) greeted me with a lame: "Hi.". I gave him a quizzical stare and half-smiled. I finally managed to blurt out: "Do I know you?" (In a sarcastic manner, if that's what you call it.) Well, I obviously didn't know the ridiculous fella. He was stumped for a moment. And so I walked away. (Does this sound logical to you? No, I didn't think so.)

THE END (I told you it was a stupid story!)

THE END
(I think this is the first time I'm posting a post that's quite nonsensical!)

ENOUGH?

Hello my friends!!

I bet you've seen the title for today's post. =D So, read on! =)

Have you got ENOUGH of what you've got? I know you get what I'm getting at. (If you get what that means..) Haha. Well, ponder on this first: How long have YOU been a Christian? I've been a Christian all the days of my life. Yes, that's a big priveledge. But sadly to say, I only knew and encountered God, and experienced Him for myself in year 2005! And that's when I really understood. (If you get what I mean..) Think about YOU now. What have you been into all these years? Hmm... Lets wonder...

I've been up to so many things nowadays, doing this and that, plenty of things to do. But I'm not that busy, unlike YOU maybe. =D Haha. But you know what? I haven't got ENOUGH. (If you get what I mean..)

So, back to YOU now. How long have you been a Christian? (Wondered long enough?) Hehe.
Now here's the next question: What have you been DOING as a Christian? (I've been asking myself that, too. So its no harm asking you!)

Many times, we think going to church on Sundays are good ENOUGH. We think that since we've been to sunday school from young, and have passed that age and moved on, it's ENOUGH. We keep getting fooled by the devil that being a Christian is just about... about being a Christian lah! (As in, if anyone asks you what religion you're in, you say: "I'm a Christian." Then the anyone asks you: "So, what do Christians do?" And you'd probably say: "Um, I'm not sure. They pray... I guess. (Cause' I don't...) But I go to church. That's what I do. Pretty easy, unlike yours.") Ahuh, so that's what you've been doing? I hope not. =) Well, I hope I don't do that too.

Till now, the final question for the day is:

HAVE YOU GOT ENOUGH OF... GOD???

Aha, if you get what I'm getting at, (If you get what I mean..) then this is your day! My answer is: NO!! I'LL NEVER HAVE ENOUGH OF GOD!! I'll always be wanting more and more and MORE!! I pray that's your prayer, too. I haven't got ENOUGH! If you're desperate, you would be asking more from God yourself. And HOW exactly do you get MORE from God? There's just one simple answer. The WORD OF GOD!! Aiks, didn't you think of it before? If you did: wonderful! If you didn't: now you know! Hebrews 4:12

So let God's Word be your daily bread (Spiritual food), and you will surely grow in the Lord MORE!

Matthew 4:4
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

Jeremiah 15:16
Your words were found, and I ate them, And your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom...

But still, we'll never have ENOUGH. So keep pressing on, my friend. We all MUST. =) Phillipians 3:12, 14

God is faithful,
Hebrews 10:23

Hello hello HELLOOO!!! *blasts the loud speaker* =P

Heya beautiful people!

Woohoo!!! I had a great weekend this weekend! XD So, did you come for YE yesterday?! Yes? Then I'm so SO glad and excited for YOU! But for those of you who didn't MANAGE to come, its a sad thing, but I hope you weren't loitering somewhere else when we were havin' so much FUN & FELLOWSHIP yesterday!

Uh, yes, alot of exclamation marks huh? Good lah! That shows I'm much TOO excited for boring ol' full stops! =P

Yesterday's YE service was extra special you know... Wanna' know why?! Cause' it was the official LAUNCHING of the L.I.F.E CELLS!! *Cheers*

What are the LIFE CELLS? The LIFE CELLS are 8 special groups or cells, formed in YE, each with a leader and an assistant. Each cell has its own group members with the minimum of 5, and the maximum of 15 youths. All the groups also have their OWN group name! We were given 5 minutes to brainstorm for a name for each of our groups yesterday. There were names like: Revival Coast, Hello Kitty (?), Treasured, LOL, The K.I.N.G, Kiasu, etc. Larry also organized some icebreakers during the meeting of the cells. Ps. John Beh shared about DLD (Desperation, Leadership, and Discipline) from Daniel 1 before the launching of the cells.

The LIFE CELLS will be based on the theme of last year's GY CAMP 2006: L.I.F.E - Leadership, Integration, Faithfulness, and Evangelism. Throughout the whole year, the leader and assistant will be taking care of their group and integrating with the members. We will also meet up regularly with our group members when possible. And by the end of the year, each one of the cells would have had expanded and multiplied in size already! With the LIFE CELLS system now, things would be much easier in YE.

So lets join forces this year, and start the beginning of a new chapter in YE to reach out to our non-Christian friends, to grow more in God, and to edify and encourage one another through the LIFE CELLS! To everyone: John 15:16-17 and Hebrews 10:24-25

God bless you ALL!! For more info, check out Pinko's bloggie: (There are pictures!!) http://zlwin.blogspot.com

Hallo folks!! =)

Today I went to the dreaded dentist clinic with my dad and sisters. Well, I'm not paranoid of dentists actually. Haha. But you know, its still NOT a very pleasant place to visit. And in the end, I didn't even get MY teeth checked up. So I practically wasted about 3 hours waiting in the clinic. Time is precious, you know! But THANKFULLY, I was very clever enough to bring a BOOK with me. Do you know how much a book can do when you're ''in waiting''?! Oh, I just simply can't imagine how BORED I'd be without that wonderful book! So in a sense, I didn't waste precious time. God is good to have created me to be so wise. =P Mind me. Haha. I was reading LOTR actually. =)

Oh yes, now I remember something I need to tell YOU. =D

About this SATURDAY!! Whoopee!!

You MUST come for this Saturday's YE service. You simply MUST!! I shan't tell you what program there lies ahead of you, but it'd be best if you don't miss anything. =) So come, and try your best to! Youth church starts at 2.00pm SHARP. Do come early, as not to miss out anything. There's surely something, not just anything. Hope to see you soon, my friend!!

Rest in the Lord always, and have a splendid day!!
Exodus 33:14 says: "My Presence will go out with you, and I will give you REST."

Your sweetheart,
Janielle. Aiks! XD (did you think I was joking?)
