I told you in the Thursday post I couldn’t go online cause’ of some Streamyx problem right?
Today I really wanted to post this, so I prayed and asked God fix up the problem. When I tried to connect, I realized that the password was changed. And I didn’t know what was the password! I tried everything I could think of. I tried calling my dad to ask, but he didn’t pick up. And while calling, something happened.
The word: training123 spelled out in my mind.
I doubted it would work. But I gave it a go. And guess what?! It connected instantly!! I can’t believe it! And the amazing thing is, I wasn’t even guessing anything. It popped up in my mind; without me even thinking.
God is great!
“I FEAR…” (Part 5)
One of the things we’re all afraid of is REJECTION.
Sometimes, God puts us in difficult situations. It might be a situation you don’t want to be in. And I’m not talking about a BAD situation; I’m talking about a GOOD one. You might be chosen as a leader in your youth group. But you’d rather prefer to be a “normal” person in youth church. Now, that’s not a really BAD situation right? At least, you’d be doing something good.
Caleb Tan once said: “Don’t look down on yourself; be strong.”
Aha! It sounds typical. But really, we all tend to compare ourselves with others. Whatever you are chosen or appointed to be, do not turn it down. Its an opportunity for God to use you!
The right thing to do is to look to God, and to do what you can do. Maybe God planned it. You’ll never know until you find out. And you’ll never find out if you choose to follow your OWN plans.
Proverbs 19:21 ~ There are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the Lord’s counsel – that will stand.
Another thing that links to the fear of rejection is the FEAR OF NOT BEING QUALIFIED. When we compare ourselves with others, it shows we’re afraid we’re UNQUALIFIED. If you were chosen to be a leader in your youth church, you might doubt you’ll do a good job because you think you’re not qualified enough. But its wrong to think like that!
God has His plans for you. Its either you seize the blessing, or you let someone else take it. You might NOT be qualified. But in God’s eyes, if you trust Him to help you, you’re as qualified as anyone out there.
God can bring you to a higher level. You can’t stay where you are all your life! God has it all planned. Don’t stay a loner. Don’t stay unrecognized. Not anymore.
Rise up to seize YOUR future. It’s now, or NEVER!

My cousin Christy and her parents are back from Australia! =D Hey there peeps!
Argh, I can't really update cause' my Streamyx is out. =(
I'm in Justine's house now! Just came back from Midvalley. Went shopping.
I'm so happy. =) I really am. Other than that, I don't have anything else to say. I'm blank now. Haha. xD
So I shall go blog-visiting now! Yipee! ;)

Can’t resist? Then don’t look at it!
My youngest sister, Jirene, has a very sweet tooth. She loves to eat sweets and ice-cream and all of that sort. One day, she’ll lose all her teeth.
Yesterday, as usual, we went to Midvalley. The spoiled brat wanted to eat ice-cream. (Okay, Jirene’s not that a spoiled brat compared to a lot of kids.) Anyway, I tried to convince my dad not to buy anything for her. Just for fun. Are the eldest always like that? xD
Me: No, you won’t get it. No. Daaaad, don’t let her!
Jirene ignored me. She kept tugging my dad, and looking sideways toward the ice-cream shop.
Me: Okay, just don’t look at it; then you won’t get tempted. (I blocked her view.)
Well, as predicted, she got her ice-cream anyway. Gah! Are the youngest always like that? =P

Now it’s my turn. When we were going back, my mum reminded us that she bought some bread for breakfast the next day. But I felt hungry… NOW. That’s when Jirene caught me.
Jirene: Hey, you’re not supposed to eat it now! It’s for tomorrow!
Me: “Okay okay, but, I CAN’T RESIST!” (I can’t believe I actually said that)
Jirene: “Then DON’T LOOK AT IT.”
I burst out laughing. Hmp, she got me! Argh. Then she gave me that “look” which said: Ha-ha, I gotcha’! IN YOUR FACE!
Got something you can’t resist?

I FEAR… (Part 4)
Angeline said in my cbox: I guess fear is dangerous? Unless you overcome it? =)
Well yes of course. There are some things we can probably overcome easily. But there are many areas that we simply just cannot overcome. Only God can help.
The devil uses fear to trap us. He uses it to stop us from doing what God wants us to do. It’s hard to overcome fear. Unless, in the power of Jesus Christ. God gives His children – those who believe in His name – the power and the boldness to overcome and to outwit the devil’s evil schemes.
Today I went to church. =) I particularly remember what the preacher – Bishop Margaret Benson Idahosa – said. I shall quote it. Hehe.
“Where there is FEAR, there is no FAITH; where there is FAITH, there is no FEAR!”
Faith in God! It’s extremely powerful. God does not forsake those who call out to Him. He will honor and bless those who learn to put their full trust in Him. Like I said, many times, we always forget to call out to God. But it’s only for your own good to remember. =)
2 Timothy 1:7 ~ For God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Rescuers in Pakistan are struggling to bring aid to more than a million people hit by storms that have also struck many other areas in south Asia. The storm and floods had killed 17 people, affected 1.3 million, and left an unspecified number missing in the province.
The floods also killed more than two dozen people in a northwestern tribal region in Pakistan and four people in neighboring Afghanistan. Monsoon storms have claimed more than 120 lives in neighboring India.
Every family is looking for one or two members. They are all missing . They need food to survive. And many are only surviving with bottled water and a few packets of biscuit.
Imagine if you were in such a state. That is REAL FEAR. If you lost one of your family members; or if you were all alone. All seems hopeless. But of course, the truth is, here you are enjoying yourself. All safe and sound, at least. =)

Aw man, I’m so tired now. Just got back from dinner. Had a long day!
Today YE was great! We had Miss Glenda Resurrecion, our special speaker for the day come over to share with us. She’s from the Philippines. I loved the way she talked. Haha, it was a fun day in YE. A lot of people were missing because MGS was having some Canteen Day or something. Too bad for you all who missed YE today! You missed out a lot! =P
I just remembered: Tomorrow’s the first day of July! Or rather, today’s the last day of June. And tomorrow we’re entering into the next half of year 2007.
So what have you been doing for the past one half of this year?
I thank God that the first half of year 2007 was simply wonderful for me. =) Now I wonder what’s in stored for me for the next six months. Do you wonder? Or maybe you already know. God’s has His plans for us. It’s all laid out nicely. The catch is whether we’ll seize what God has for us, or follow our own plans.
But God knows best. He created you. So naturally, He’ll know what He created you for right?
So the clever thing to do is to look to God, your Creator!
Matthew 6:33 ~ Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
God be with you! =D
