For A Purpose

Hey people! I'm back to writing! =D But if at any time, I stop updating, that means my computer has gone "crazy" again. So forgive me if I don't update. =P

2 Corinthians 5:15 ~ "He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again."

God tells us that He is the One and only true God; there is no other. (Deuteronomy 4:35) God's Word reminds us that His only Son, Jesus Christ, die for ALL of us. Not only the rich, not only the famous, but also the neglected and poor. But most of all, remember, He paid the price of death on the cross for YOU, too.

God is calling all those who have received Him, and believed in His name, to live no longer for themselves. Many times we do not want to listen to God. We choose to do what we want to do. But that should not be... All of us who have received Jesus as our Lord and Savior and have obtained eternal life, must live not for ourselves, but live for Him!

Are you living for God, and for His glory? Or do you prefer to lead your life selfishly, and choosing to turn away from God?

We must do as God commands us. Its all in the Bible. The Bible is your guide for LIFE! Don't think you can help yourself and live without it. NO WAY! Without God's Word, you're dead meat. You can go around doing all sorts of stuff, but in the end, if you don't have God's Word hidden in your heart... what's the point? Above all the things you do, God wants you to walk in His ways and hide His Word in your heart. Its hard, but its possible.

God is seeking those who would seek His face. Those who would seek His Word, and share His heart. Are you one of them?

God calls us to LIVE FOR HIM, and for HIS GLORY! Jesus rose again, and He lives! So we can be comforted that we are living for a REAL GOD, not some fake-god-nothing. God has a plan YOU. As God's people, we are called to "live out" His plan for us. BUT... the choice is still up to you. Living for God will lay you rewards in heaven, and God will be pleased with you. But if you'd rather enjoy yourself and live for your pleasure, you're definitely falling into the devil's trap! That's exactly what the devil wants! To turn you AWAY FROM GOD!

Will you LIVE FOR GOD, or will you live to do your own thing?

Colossians 3:23-24 ~ "In whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord."
