Howdy people! =)

I’ve just read Rachel’s blog.
Ok, you must be wondering: who in the world is Rachel?!! Well, I prefer to call her Rachel. But her first name’s Bawanie. Good, so I suppose now you know who am I talking about?

Go read her latest post (June 12 2007)! =D

Have you ever been through a situation when you’re so DEAD TIRED you start picturing yourself jumping into your soft cozy bed (and you badly wish you were in the “picture”)? But of course, in this case, even though you’re so dead tired, you cannot permit yourself to fall asleep. It’s a terrible thing isn’t it? But you know IF you happen fall asleep, it’ll probably be the end of you.

AND, you don't wanna' end up like my sister...

Gosh, this picture is so, undecent. =P Jirene'll kill me if she sees this. But the catch is: she won't. xD
Ok, lets continue. I have to say I put it in a very strict way. But that’s life, my dear. IF you actually happen to “fall asleep” you’d probably miss out something very very important that’s awaiting you. You see, here’s where I turn to the other side of the coin.

God has plans awaiting you. He has it all laid out before you (if you’re on the right path, of course). But all the time, we miss out God’s plans for us because we get distracted (and that can be compared to “falling asleep”), and most of the time we are UNAWARE of God calling us to Him. And what’s the result?

We’ll miss out God’s blessings and plans for our life!

Why, you don’t want that to happen, do you? It’s a terrible thing, really. Jesus tells His disciples to “Watch!” and we need to also be alert. As they say, we always need to be “on guard”. The devil is waiting to trap us every moment. He’s waiting for an opportunity to use one of the tricks up his sleeve to cause you to get distracted and be unaware of God calling you.

1 Thessalonians 5:5-6 ~ You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are neither of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us WATCH and be sober.

Watch! And guard your heart in Christ Jesus,
Janielle Beh
