Crazy News: The Latest Psychopath

You should check the dictionary for the word “psychopath” if you don’t know what it means. Well, that’s what I did… You can use this dictionary.

I read the most sick and disgusting news this morning. Fortunately, it is under World News in the Star papers. So at least we don’t have a mad psychopath walking around. But Malaysian news is as bad, I suppose. Anyway, the crazy bit of news you’re gonna’ read is about the latest psychopath Russia. Since I had my fair bit of grimaces today, I thought you should read it and feel a bit sick, too. Ahahaha. Kidding. But you’re going to read it anyway…

Moscow, Russia:

Alexander Pichushkin, accused of killing dozens of people and keeping count of them on a chessboard, reveled in the memory of his first murder at his trial on Tuesday, saying its like first love – unforgettable.

Pichushkin, 33, also insisted that the prosecutors charge him with all the murders he has taken responsibility for, saying to do otherwise would be unfair. Pichushkin confessed to murdering 63, with the goal of marking all 64 squares on the chessboard.

“A first killing is like your first love. You never forget it,” he said
, after explaining how he started killing at age 18 with the murder of a classmate. Pichushkin said he suggested to his classmate that they kill someone, but when his friend refused, “I sent him to heaven.” He then smirked at the jury. Often aggressive in court, Pichushkin gesticulated to show the jury how he strangled his victims and the marks his victims had left on his hands as they struggled.

Prosecutors say he lured most of his victims to Moscow’s Bitsevsky Park, where he plied them with vodka and then smashed their skulls with a hammer. Other victims were strangled, drowned in a sewage pit, or thrown off balconies. “You should not credit the police for catching me, I gave up myself,” he told the court.

If convicted, Pichushkin could be Russia’s most prolific serial killer. Andrei Chikatilo was convicted in 1992 and executed in 1994 for raping, butchering, and in some cases eating as many as 52 people.

My goodness, it’s sickening beyond words. Butchering and eating people! Smashing skulls and – ugh, I can’t bear it no longer.

God protect us, we’re living in the midst of crazy psychos everywhere!
