For A Purpose

How It All Began

You know, when I first created a blog, I was pretty lousy at it. What made me wanna’ start a blog, I kinda’ forgot. But since it was something everyone was doing, I decided to blog as well. When I first started, I was kinda’ lazy to write properly. The words were all in lower case and there was no proper paragraphing. Now when I read back, I realize I’ve definitely come a long way to arrive where I am now. I’m glad I can look back and compare my past writings with what I have today and say, Hey, I did improve a lot!

I enjoy writing and posting pictures. It’s something I look forward to doing. For me, my blog and writings are one of the things in life that I consider an accomplishment. =) And, you probably didn’t know that the one person who first influenced me to blog more meaningfully was no other than my good buddy, Zlwin Chew! Haha. =P Yes, he was the one who inspired me to write better and to blog with purpose. And he actually started blogging later than I did! It was fun reading his posts because I could expect something out of it.

But there are times when I feel blank and I don’t know what to write. Yeah you can bet it’s not simply a piece of cake to find something relevant to write about that other people would want to read. Of course, some of us write for our own pleasure and we don’t really care what other people think. But in my case, I’m sure you’ve noticed that I write and post stuff for others to read and I want you guys to benefit from my writing. :)

I’ve already told myself, if I’m going to do something, I’ll make sure I’ll be real good at it. I want to do it with a purpose, with a drive. It’s not easy to stick with it, though. But if you’re set on doing something and you know you can use it to lead others to Jesus, no sweat, God will help you. ;)
