We never often think about it... But who are the people we truly love? And who are the ones who truly love us? Changing, fickle, unstable beings as we are, who would love me for who I am?
When you begin to really ponder this, then you realize that maybe the ones who really love you and those whom you truly love can only be counted on your ten fingers...
With that in mind, we should also always remember, no one on earth can ever love us as perfectly and unchangingly as GOD can!
And shifting to another vantage point, oh how precious is life and how fleeting is time so much so that we should give careful thought to whom we spend our time with!
Too often we all go about seeking the approval of those who will never appreciate our friendship. Too often we forget the people who already want to get to know us better and we take for granted these rare jewels right before us in a bid to chase after the wind.
Friends, we need to choose our friends, and we also need to BE a friend to someone who truly needs a friend!
The world's a sad place because everyone's seeking love and approval from the wrong people, and in the mean time, those who truly need OUR love & approval, are left ignored in the shadows.
Make every moment count. Look out for the people who need your love and care. Appreciate the ones who do love you for who you are and who will also have the nerve to tell you off when you're out of place! :p
With wisdom choose what you take in and also what you give out. While we can't love everyone all at once, we CAN reach out to the world by sharing God's love & truth one person at a time. :)
