"Where is GOD in your LIFE?"


I know, for Christians, you'd be thinking about going to church every Sunday, or maybe Saturday. (I guess most of you are Christians here. Haha.) What about weekdays? When I tell non-Christians about church, they always think about SUNDAYS. Haha. And all sorts of religious stuff. But you know what? YOU should know that being a Christian isn't just about going to church on Sundays ONLY (My dear friend, Christianity is certainly NOT a DUTY.), and getting to heaven when you die. =P Haha.

Being a Christian is a walk with GOD. I know, you've probably heard of this for the umpteenth time, but have you been walking with God?

Galatians 5:16 says: "I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."


As God's children, we are SUPPOSED to walk in Him. We may seem quite healthy on the OUTSIDE, but INSIDE, we're practically rotting. (Harsh? Good for you.) The only solution to good health both on the outside AND inside, is God's Word. I know you know this, but you're just avoiding the thought of it right? Well then, its up to you after all. You either choose LIFE... Or DEATH. God's Word is LIFE. The other way, is certainly DEATH. So choose.

Walk in God, my friend. And how do we do that? Think about it. Think think think. Find the solution for yourself, if you're REALLY "hungry". Then the answer will SURELY come to you. =)

Jeremiah 33:3: "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know."

So till then (I'm off to dinner now, while also 'savoring' Lord Of The Rings.),

Heya extraordinaires!! I hope you'e one.. =)


Phew!! ... Yesterday was an awfully (but wonderfully) long (very LONG) and hectic day! I left the house at 9am and only came back at 11.30pm! But thank goodness, the day wasn't a dread. Can go YE mah... Then after that we rushed off to Grace PJ for the Saturday evening service, cause' my dad was preaching. Joyce came along with me. We were dozing off every now and then during the service. So sleepy!! Arghs*

At 8.30pm the Uth Church's Pre Rally started. It was good. Good good. Very good. =) Well, ofcourse this time, I wasn't dozing off la.. Hehe. We were jumping and praising so much during the Praise & Worship time! Or at least I was. No, we all were. Haha...

And then came today! Today went to Grace PJ again. No Uth Church. Aiyah.. Oh well, the service was great anyway.

Okie then, I wanna' go sleep now. Haha, just wanted to fill in a post for today! Whoopee!! =D

Thirsty?


The scorching hot sun burns your skin. You're feeling swelteringly HOT. Sweat drenches your shirt. You wipe your wet forehead and look around longingly for water. WATER!! Your soul longs for water; even just a sip of it down your dry, hoarse throat would do... Otherwise, you think you'll probably DIE.

That's it, pal. Are you THIRSTY today? You could be drinking a dozen bottles of water to quench your thirst, but that's just a PHYSICAL illustration. What about the SPIRITUAL?

John 4:13-14

13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

In verse 13, Jesus was refering to the NORMAL water we drink everyday. But in verse 14, Jesus talks about LIVING WATER. And this, only JESUS CHRIST can give. No one else. It says in verse 14 that: "..whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will NEVER (NEVER!) thirst..." Isn't that wonderful?! The LIVING WATER Jesus was talking about refers to EVERLASTING LIFE.

Do you realize that humans never seem to be SATISFIED in life? That's US. We're NEVER satified. Once we've got what we want, we see something else BETTER, and we feel UNSATISFIED again. Don't you think so?


Here's the GOOD NEWS for the day (In fact, for the rest of your life!) :

JESUS can SATISFY. The ONLY solution is to drink of the LIVING WATER that Jesus offers you. Its YOUR choice. =)

Here's a million dollar question for you:

How RICH are YOU? (Don't give me that "look" yeah.. =P)

So, how RICH are YOU? Take note: I'm not talking about the world's perspective on being rich. I'm talking about the OTHER rich. The rich which makes you rich on the INSIDE. The rich which makes you RICHER than the richest man in the universe. The rich which makes you the richest man on the universe, but doesn't acquire you to have all the riches in the world.

I know. You're confused. =P Haha. See how wise I am. XD

I'm sure you're already getting "the point". How rich are you? Think about it.

You may be owning a huge mansion on a hilltop, you may own the latest hi-tech gadgets, you may have gold bars under your bed, you may own McDonald's (wink*), you may have several dozen maids in your bungalow, you may have EVERYTHING you WANT...

But SO WHAT? So what?! Think about it, mate. Think think THINK. You need JESUS. That's what you NEED. You can have everything you want, but so what if you don't have Jesus? We're all wretched humans. WE ALL NEED JESUS. Without HIM, you're DEAD MEAT. Romans 7:24

What are you without Jesus? What's the purpose of living then? So now, are you RICH in GOD? Or are you considering yourselves rich in the WORLD'S PERSPECTIVE. Now that's sad sad sad. But I'm proud to say, I am RICH in GOD. Proverbs 10:22

15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.


Matthew 6:19-21

19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Hey hey, people!! =)


So how's Chinese New Year? Honestly saying, I'm rather in a BORING mood this year. Aiks. HOW CAN?! Well, CAN lo... XD

I've been wanting to write about THIS. So I shall, NOW.

Have you EVER DREAMED about...

FLYING?

Yes!! FLYING!! Incredible ain't it?! Well, just a few days ago, while playing piano, I recalled all of a sudden that the night before, I DREAMED about FLYING. Have you EVER?

The REMARKABLE thing is, it seemed so... SO... REAL. If I were to try to dream about flying now, it wouldn't be possible. I wouldn't get the same, EXACT... FEELING. It MUST only happen in a DREAM. For me at least.

Well, I shall not go into the details of my dream ofcourse. =P Haha. But its awfully interesting right? Man has tried NUMEROUS attempts to FLY, but it has always been possible only with special machinery or aircrafts.

But unfortunately, no proper human being on planet earth has succeeded in FLYING. Not by flapping arms, not my hopping, not by jumping off a cliff (aiks!), not by eating birds (huh?), not by praying, not by... etc etc.

Haha, I know, its hilarious... yet depressing. But oh well, we can still DREAM dreams of flying and soaring midair, thankfully. =) So learn how to dream. But not dream until you dream and dream and then you forget everything else.

WARNING:
Do not dream TOO MUCH. You could possibly, really jump off a cliff. Aiks!!

God will help us soar to new heights if we wait and trust in Him. (In the OTHER way yeah..)

Isaiah 40:31 says, "But those who wait on the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Heya folks! =) Happy Chinese New Year!


Well, I've been wanting to go online to write about last Saturday's YE Chinese New Year Party. =D Woohoo!!! It was GREAT!! Those of you who didn't come, you missed it.

Haha. (If you think I'm trying to CONSOLE you that its OK that you DIDN'T come, you're WRONG. My mission here is to make you feel GUILTY that you DIDN'T come!) *sticks my tongue out*

Yeapz, we had lots of fun and fellowship together during the party. It was superbly TERRIFIC. Marvelously DELIGHTFUL. And most of all, fabulously HILARIOUS!! (I ain't exaggerating this time yeah. Its all TRUE.)Throughout the party, we were all entertained by the games, and the jokes made by Chou Ta Sifu (Nick Aaron), the lil' girl in PIGTAILS and a PINK jumper (Sherene Teh!! =D), and the lil' boy who looks like a big boy XD (Poh Leong!). They were acting throughout the party and entertaining us with their SILLY-NESS. Haha. You guys did tremendously well, I can say!!! wink*

Good to see you if you came, definitely NO REGRETS right? =)

Sad to know that you didn't come, if you didn't come. Very REGRETFUL right? =)

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures for you. Haih. Niway, NO CURES for MISSING the PARTY!! Muahahahaha. =)

I know, that was abit abrupt... or unexpected? So, do you actually like Maths? Do you?! *screams impatiently*

I terribly, bitterly, sourly, awfully, badly, dreadfully, extremely, exceeeeeeeee....dingly, HATE (Guess what?)

MATHS!!!

WHY WHY WHY? WHY was maths founded?!

Oh how I wish some daft people didn't created such a ridiculous and outrageous subject! MATHS!! MATHS!! MATHS!! Why, oh WHY must we USE maths?!

Sorry, I'm particularly fuming with annoyance because of MATHS today. It made me extremely irritated. I just don't get it. NUMBERS! I haven't got anything AGAINST it. But you know what? I just CAN'T tolerate it to have to: + - x % divide etc etc. Sheesh. What a NUISANCE.

But oh well, unfortunately, I can't go against GOD. Haha. HE created maths... For... our good... Haih haih. =( God bless us all who hate maths!! And also to lovers of maths: I hate you!! Nolarr... Haiyo, I joking only mah.. =P God bless you too. But I can't, and will NEVER understand HOW you can possibly LIKE MATHS!! *screams my head off*

Oh yes... I shall talk about ACC, once again! Its TOO exciting to NOT talk about it, I simply CAN'T resist!! ACC, ACC, ACC!! =P

Yes, ACC. Until now, I still won't want to reveal the meaning ACC. To those of you who know, you're blessed and priveledged! Awesome! I can't wait to work with you people! If YOU do not know yet, I'll tell u soon. Not here, though. =)

Oooh, the time is coming, and NOW is.

- So be prepared. Colossians 2:6-7

- Stay focused on the right things. Look to JESUS. Hebrews 12:2

- In EVERYTHING you do, be sure your FOUNDATION is on JESUS CHRIST!! 1 Corinthians 3:11

- Be rooted in GOD'S WORD!!! Ah, this is very VERY essential. Matthew 4:4

- TRUST God in everything you do; COMMIT all your plans to Him. Proverbs 16:3 and Romans 8:28

Even so, all this, I have not accomplished FULLY. But remember, we have the Holy Spirit to help us!! Acts 1:8

So all you people out there, lets work TOGETHER to EDIFY and EXHORT one another, learn how to LOVE and ACCEPT each other despite our flaws and errors, and trust GOD for GREATER things ahead of us!!! Woohoo!! Aren't you excited and exhilarated?!! *Pulls a big cheesy grin* Hebrews 10:24-25

Howdy, Partners in Christ!! (Yep, we're ALL PARTNERS NOW!! Acc-ians!!! =D) The ACC Founders are so SO EXCITED and THRILLED that we have finally launched ACC last Saturday. (For those of you who weren't there, WE will inform you about it soon in person.)

By the way, for those of you who know WHAT ACC STANDS FOR, do not spread the news 1st yeah. The Founders will do it. Hehe.

I've once again been GROUNDED yesterday. That's why I didn't update. Yeapz. Though its no BIG DEAL. I guess I was rather better off spending my time reading. Seriously...

Today, was officially a PAINTING DAY. (Oh?) Yeah, PAINTING DAY. Haha, my room is like a messy dump now. Due to the painting of the walls, ofcourse. Haha, I'm painting my room some kinda orangey, peachy color. (Yes, I'm painting MY OWN ROOM. Very few people do such things... Or maybe there are alot. I don't quite know.) I haven't decided on the other color yet. And I was painting nearly for the whole afternoon!! About 3-4 hours!! Argh... And guess what?? I've painted only less than half of my little room. Arghs*

Hurrahs* Yipeeez!! I can't wait for TOMORROW!! Can you guess why? No, its not my birthday, neither is it yours... So... It must be, ___________ (Fill out the blank)

I'm currently *blanko* for the day. (Haha, pinko would know. Hey, I'm still blanko today. Aiks.) So that's why I utterly writing a post that has no aim/target/purpose/intent. (Hmm.. Oh oh oh, DON'T YOU like reading?!! Its crazily, fantastically, amazingly, intriguingly, fascinatingly, remarkably, AWESOME!! Yes, reading. Ahah!! Its way WAY better than watching movies, come to think of it. Hmm... I believe ALL HOMESCHOOLERS, SHOULD, like reading. Its good. (Ish, my mind's pretty 'blank' now, mind me if I'm botherin' you about my reading frenzy!)

Haha, but oh well, this really IS MY blog... So since today I'm in a... I-wanna-tell-the-world-I-love-reading mood, you'll have to bare with me. *Chuckles like a villian*

Oh how I wish I lived in a... forest environment. Then everyday in the cool of the day, I'd gather my books, find a nice, peaceful and serene corner amongst the lush greenery, and READ READ READ!!!!! Oh my... I'm already picturing it. Sighs. If only I could. (I'm feeling bad now. There's a tugging at my heart. How I pray I could do that one day!!!!) Haha.

Howdy, my exquisite friends!! =)


Oh my... I was so dead tired on Friday and Saturday!! There is a 50 hour prayer, prophesy, and preaching event going on in church. It started on Friday and is on going till the 50th hour ends, which is at 10pm tonight. And guess what?? On Friday I stayed in church until about 4.30am!! Slept at 6.30am and woke up at 8.00am... =) AiKS!! I THINK I'm tired... =P

Before I EMBARK on my "VOYAGE" to Slumberland, I shall 'cook up' something beneficial for your (spiritual) health today. Haha... XD

So what exactly is beneficial?? The answer is found in: 1 Timothy 6:14 (There are so many answers!! All found in the Bible..)

Yes, and in 1 Timothy 6:14, LOVE is mentioned. Aha!! LOVE. (Does that sound 'harsh' to you??)

Aye, LOVE's the word. Its hard to love. Don't you think so?? We all need to love others. I forget to love others everyday, too. I think we would be better off LOVING OURSELVES. But you know what? The Bible speaks of LOVING OTHERS. John 15:12 says it all.

I shall now proceed to the yummiest part of today's scrumptious treat:

1 John 4:7-11 says:

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

My, my, oh my... oh my... (No don't worry, nothing TRAGIC happened.) Oh my... Oh, My GOD is so so so so SO GOOD to me!! He's so wonderfully good to me!! In fact, to us all.

When was the last time you thanked GOD for something?? WHEN, exactly??

You forgot?? Or... You remember??

Think about it. Sometimes we're all so busy with our lives, we FORGET what's IMPORTANT. And we tend to NEGLECT and TAKE FOR GRANTED what MATTERS MOST. Don't you think so? Its sad. But we must learn not to be so caught up with our own lives that we forget whats IMPORTANT.

Ok, so when was the last time you actually ASKED GOD for something? (Now, that's different from THANKING GOD for something..) Just think about it. I won't say much. I don't know your daily life, so I can only make you PONDER on this.

There are so so so so many VERSES in the BIBLE that talk about THANKING GOD. And as a matter-of-fact, ASKING GOD, too. I'll dig out some verses for you. Pray you'll read it!! Hehe. Its for OUR good. *Winks encouragingly*
